Stéphane Halleux's work is simply creation at its best. One of the remarkable features of his work are the materials he uses: a diverse collection of old parts and remnants of metal, wood, leather. His inventions boost anyone's imagination as he knows how to bring his culptures to life: characters, super heroes, with their own accessories and vehicles. They seem to have stepped out of the past and collide with a dreamlike future from our childhood. In 2014, the sculptures and universe of Stéphane Halleux were captured in “Mr. Hublot”. The shortfilm won the Oscar for “Best Animated Short Film”.
