Benoît Trimborn

Benoît Trimborn was born in Schiltigheim-Strasbourg. He studied architecture alongside his musical studies at the Conservatoire de Strasbourg. He has devoted himself entirely to painting since 2010, giving up his architectural career. He was first represented in galleries in Strasbourg, Switzerland and Belgium (Absolute Art Gallery) and later in New York and Boston.
The paintings by Benoît Trimborn, oil on canvas, show undisturbed landscapes, free of any clutter, which speak for themselves. As a former architect, the artist has eye for the ethereal quality of light, atmosphere and natural beauty. The artist simply sees the space of the countryside, going through all seasons and transformations, as a bridge to the space of his canvas. This is exactly what he conveys, no message should disarrange the viewer’s perspective.
